Simply put, we love helping people catch fish.

Owner and operator Ryan Chris, grew up in Idaho - graduated from Caldwell High School and earned a Bachelors degree in Biology from Idaho State University. He has been fishing in this state for 30+ years and is outspoken about his love for this state and all it has to offer the outdoor junkie. 

Ryan is an expert in many different disciplines including fly fishing, rod building, lure craft, coldwater and warmwater conventional tackle fishing and well known for "outside the box" tactics and lure/fly modifications and designs. 

Ryan has a passion for working with the youth and set up the Idaho Rod and Reel "Good Fish" program to help encourage the youth of the community to get outside, fish and serve. Kids are VERY WELCOME in this shop!
